Goes on smooth. It has a great little brush with it. My pores look a lot smaller and it definitely will unclog your pores.

The mask did not feel cakey or uncomfortable as some clay mask do while on. My skin immediately looked better upon rinsing the mask off and adding a bit of moisturizer. I tend to have a few problem dry areas that often need extra love and that was accomplished.
The real test of time for me was the few days we spent camping after I had tried the mask. Normally the quality of my skin is very poor upon returning home, I imagine it's a combination of the campfire smoke, sunscreen and a lack of running water...but I was thrilled and surprised to not only have my skin still feeling great, but also looking quite free of any new blemishes when we returned to civilization!
